More than 900 students participated in the 6th annual New Hampshire Construction Career Days (NHCCD) at the 4-H Youth Center in New Boston, N.H, Sept. 17 and 18. Students from 45 New Hampshire schools registered for the event.

NHCCD educates local New Hampshire high school students about construction and highway career opportunities through hands on exhibits and informational seminars. During this two-day event, various booths and exhibits provided students an opportunity to work with heavy machinery, and try welding, plumbing, carpentry, pouring concrete, land surveying, electrical wiring, land clearing, waste water management and other construction related jobs. Local dealers, contractors, colleges and organizations were on hand to help create awareness and educate students about career opportunities available within the industry.
