- Northeast Edition

Ted Williamson has been promoted to general service manager, Alban CAT, effective July 1. Williamson worked for Caterpillar from 1997 to 2003 in a variety of roles and then joined Milton CAT as its customer support manager and then service operations and technical services manager from 2003 to 2006.

Williamson has been Alban’s Northern Virginia parts and service manager, running the Sterling branch, since his arrival at Alban in 2006. He will now have responsibility for all earthmoving branch operations along with the Ocean City branch, and will report to John Rodal, vice president of parts and service.

Tim Lambert has been promoted to Sterling branch manager, also effective July 1st. Lambert came to Alban in 1994, starting as a welder and working his way up through the Sterling machine shop, learning all aspects of the business. He worked with Darrell Kaase throughout this time and ultimately becoming Sterling machine/weld shop supervisor.

Lambert then managed the relocation of the machine shop to the Winchester facility and at the same time assumed responsibility for the new hydraulic shop in Winchester.

Lambert will report to Ted Williamson.
