Altorfer Inc. announced that Josh Zaruba and Jason Kohl have accepted new roles as product support sales representatives in Altorfer’s southeast Iowa territory. Zaruba will support Altorfer’s construction customers in Delaware, Dubuque, Linn, Jones, Johnson and Cedar counties, and Kohl will cover Black Hawk, Buchanan, Tama, Benton, Poweshiek and Iowa counties.

Zaruba joined Altorfer in 2013 as warranty administrator, and most recently worked with Altorfer’s product support sales representatives to inspect equipment and measure undercarriage. He also has been instrumental in improving Altorfer’s machine rebuild business. Prior to joining Altorfer, Zaruba worked as a heavy equipment operator for a pipeline traveling across the country.

Kohl enters his new position with more than 17 years of experience as a Caterpillar shop and field technician; nine of those years with Altorfer. Kohl’s experience makes him uniquely qualified for his new role, which will allow him to build upon the relationships he has already established with customers in the six Iowa counties he will cover.

“We are very excited to move Josh and Jason into these new positions,” said Trevis Adair, product support sales manager of Altorfer’s construction division. “They both have big shoes to fill as Jay Oehlerich retired at the end of July, but I am confident that with their strong work ethic, dedication, knowledge, and passion for the construction business, that they will pick up right where Jay left off.”
