Altorfer Cat is a Caterpillar dealer with locations in Illinois, Iowa and Missouri. The company was founded in 1957 by Edward J. Altorfer, who had previously worked in his family's washing machine business called AltorferBrothers Company in East Peoria. In addition to Caterpillar, Altorfer Cat carries Taylor and Mitsubishi forklifts, JLG telehandlers, Lexion combines, Challenger tractors, AGCO application equipmentand Trail King trailers.
