Altorfer Inc. hosted its 2016 Technology Demo Day at its Hannibal, Mo., location on June 9. The company welcomed more than 120 attendees to learn about the latest technologies across multiple Caterpillar products.
Wade Porter, Caterpillar motorgrader specialist, started the day with an impressive presentation and live demo on the new Cat 140M3 series motorgrader.
Throughout the day, attendees demoed several machines equipped with the latest technologies, including a Cat 140M3-AWD motorgrader with advanced control joy sticks, stable grade, cross slope and auto articulation; a 323FL hydraulic excavator with grade with assist, a D6N-LGP track-type tractor with cross slope and a D6K2-LGP track-type tractor with cross slope and a blade mounted AccuGrade GPS.
Additionally, attendees tested out the new RemoteTask remote control system for Cat D Series skid steer, multi-terrain and compact track loaders.
