Sharon Hengel and Michelle Williams attended the Wellness by Design Award Ceremony to receive Aspen Equipment’s award from Hennepin County in recognition of their outstanding wellness program June 11.

Aspen Equipment Company was one of 60 companies to receive the Gold Award. Other recipients include Xcel Energy, Polaris and the Metropolitan Airport Commission. This recognition has established Aspen as a leader in the growing movement among employers to help their employees lead healthier, balanced lives.

The purpose of Aspen Equipment’s Wellness Program is to create a culture that encourages and supports employees’ efforts in making healthy physical and mental lifestyle choices by raising awareness through education and company policies and practices.
