Aspen Equipment announced the opening of its Lee's Summit branch serving the Kansas City, Mo., region. This move is approximately a mile from Aspen's original location in Lee's Summit and features a large 12,000-sq.-ft. building with five bays for upfits and service.

In addition to the existing equipment lines offered by Aspen Equipment, such as National Crane boom trucks, Potain tower cranes and Palfinger crane trucks, Aspen's custom service truck upfits supporting the railroad, construction, mining, utility, tree care and government industries can be found here.

Everything from new and used sales and rentals for cranes, aerials and construction equipment is being offered. The full-service branch also offers equipment repairs, testing and inspections, rebuilds and remanufacturing, mobile field service, OEM and aftermarket parts and product support.

"We're excited to be in this new building," said Tracy Smith, branch manager. "With the larger shop space, we have more capacity for upfits, crane rebuilds and remanufacturing services."

The territory expansion includes western Missouri and northeast Kansas. The new facility is at 1510 SE Kingspoint Drive, Lee's Summit, Mo., and is open Monday through Friday.
