Richard Elliot has been appointed product development specialist CTO — East for Atlas Copco Construction Equipment.

Based out of Columbus, Ohio, Elliott is responsible for application and product knowledge for all Atlas Copco construction tool products including hydraulic attachments, pneumatic and hydraulic handheld, and light compaction and concrete equipment. Elliott will provide sales and product demonstration support to increase product awareness and grow the construction tools market throughout the eastern part of the United States. He also will assist in the development of new products and function as the training coordinator.

Elliott has been working in the construction equipment industry for 15 years. He’s held a variety of different positions, beginning his career as a mechanic, then becoming a regional service manager, regional sales manager, hydraulic applications manager, and most recently technical applications manager. Elliott joined Atlas Copco in 2003 to promote the company’s new hydraulic attachment range. He is a member of AEM, AED and NDA.

Elliott reports to Kevin Loomis, business line manager — construction tools.
