The Road Connection is a nationwide initiative to highlight the need for increased road and infrastructure funding. It involves increased awareness about the positive impact that the infrastructure funding has on the job market, about the poor conditions that exist in many areas today and about the burden that the high cost of poor road conditions place on both individuals and communities.
Because roads are essential to all, participants in The Road Connection range from leading manufacturers to organizations to media members and consumer groups. The ultimate goal of the initiative is to promote road and road infrastructure funding on the national, state and local levels.
To help achieve the goals, The Road Connection message is being carried to the public and to the government in a variety of ways. At the center of the initiative is a series of road tour stops across the country at KPI-JCI and Astec Mobile Screen distributors, trade shows and other events. The latest stop on the road show circuit was at Baschmann Services, a distributor of KPI-JCI along with other products including Kobelco, Terex, LiuGong and others.
