J. Bruce Hitchcock, 80, passed away on June 24, 2017, at Jones Memorial Hospital after a long illness. He was born May 6, 1937, and was the fifth son of Dr. Raymond O. and Helen C. Hitchcock of Alfred, N.Y. Mr. Hitchcock is survived by his wife of 58 years, Zona (Pierce); daughter, Kim Gartner (Jim) of Dayton, Ohio; son, Bill Hitchcock (Sue) of Fort Worth, Texas; five grandchildren, Jillian, Meron and Brian Gartner, Kayleigh (Trent) Lowery and Kristen (Jon) McAfee; brothers, Allan (Pat), Robert and James; sister-in-law, Carolyn and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pete Baschmann, president of Baschmann Services in Elma, N.Y., announced the addition of Bill Regan to Baschmann's sales staff. Regan brings 42 years of experience working with contractors, municipalities and loggers in supplying them with the equipment they need to properly complete their projects.
