Bomag Americas recently relocated its North American headquarters to Ridgeway, S.C. The 127,600 sq. ft. facility houses 107,100 sq. ft. of spare parts warehousing and a machine assembly area, along with 20,500 sq. ft. of office space. Bomag manufactures light and heavy compaction, asphalt paving and soil stabilization and asphalt reclamation equipment.

“The all new state-of-the-art facility will provide a training center for year round use to help our dealers and customers with technical and application support for our products,” said John Hood, director of sales of Bomag. “Additionally, the close proximity to national level shipping hubs will allow late day shipping and after hours service.”

Doug Neff, asphalt products manager at Southeastern Equipment Co. Inc., believes the relocation will benefit everyone involved.

“We at Southeastern couldn’t be more excited about our relationship with Bomag and the company’s promising future. Bomag is a worldwide leader in the road building sector, and it’s very exciting to represent an equipment line with cutting edge technology.

“Their management team is very accessible, and they listen to what we have to say. The move can only enhance our relationship with Bomag and help grow the opportunities to support our customers.”

Bomag looks forward to continuing its relationship with all of its dealers, including Southeastern.

“Bomag and Southeastern have enjoyed a very strong, mutually profitable relationship,” said Hood. “Southeastern has been one of Bomag’s top dealers for several years, and it is nice to work with a partner that you can rely on and trust.”
