Briggs Equipment Scores Hole-In-One for Raleigh Customers

- Southeast Edition

Briggs Equipment hosted a golf tournament for their Raleigh, NC, area customers on Oct. 21 at Eagle Ridge Golf Club.

The weather was a little chilly with a light mist in the air, but that didn’t dampen the spirits of the players. Briggs elected to use the captain’s choice format, making the tournament competitive for every team. This ensured, for example, that if a tee shot found its way under a tree, it didn’t count –– provided that a teammate put one in a better spot.

Briggs also had a wide assortment of Case and Hamm machines displayed on many of the holes. If a golfer shot a hole-in-one on the second hole, he or she won a Hamm 3205 soil compactor.

Many door prizes also were given away to ensure no one left empty handed. These included hats, gloves, jackets, golf balls, bags, sweaters, putters and several Augusta National prints.
