The Construction Association of Michigan (CAM) announced hiring Jason Griffin as its new director of safety and education services. He assumes the role from Tracey Alfonsi, who has moved into the position of CAM director of sales and marketing.
Griffin comes to CAM from MIOSHA, where he was appointed to MIOSHAâs consultation education and training (CET) division in 2010 and provided construction safety services for the mid-east counties of Michigan. He also provided training and consultation to assist companies in the development of comprehensive safety programs and adherence to MIOSHA standards.In 2013, he was selected as a Rising Star of Safety by the National Safety Council; he also received the Good Government Symbol of Excellence in 2013, and MIOSHAâs Excellence in Service award in 2014.
