The showroom displays products from Leica Geosystems, Geomax and Seco Manufacturing.

After months of planning and construction work, Construction Laser Inc. moved into its brand-new facility located at 1025 Henry Parkway Connector in McDonough, Ga. This move puts the company only a few miles from its previous location off Hwy. 155 and now to the north of Interstate 75.

The facility features more than 6,000 sq. ft. of space and is situated on more than 2 acres of prime property, which allows for expansion capabilities.

The new facility has ample space to the rear for machine installs, features an enhanced service department and a large conference room area for training of various sized groups. A portion of the grounds incorporates an actual working job site, which is set up with a 3D model where customers can receive additional hands-on training.

According to John Rosier, company owner-president, Construction Laser is big on training courses to ensure its customers get the most out of their investment.

“There's a tendency towards turnover of skilled workers employed by grading contractors. This results in the need for continuous ongoing training for the technology that a contractor is utilizing. Construction Laser holds monthly training sessions for new employees or refresher courses for existing employees for the contractors they do business with. The program includes classroom training and then stepping outside for hands-on training on the GPS based rover and machine set up on the premises.”

There are a total of nine sales and administrative offices incorporated into the building design and a large showroom with a vast array of displays of equipment available at Construction Laser. Locally fabricated trench boxes and rock boxes are available from this location.

All three divisions of Construction Laser Inc. are housed at the Henry Parkway Connector location: survey, laser and machine control divisions. Onsite installation and service for machine control for dozers, graders and excavators also is available.

Construction Laser is an authorized Leica Geosystems dealer for construction and machine control products, and Geomax and Seco Manufacturing for the surveying side of the business. Grade stakes, tripods, grade rods, marking paint and other extra survey supplies are warehoused there as well.

“Our motto has always been to take care of the customer, even if it costs us money. The old saying, “If we don't take care of our customer, someone else will” means that we need to be the best at what we do and be the leader in the industry.”

Construction Laser serves Georgia and portions of South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee and Alabama for Leica Geosystems and Geomax products and service. Stephen Bridges serves as the company's vice president and sales manager.
