Westchester Tractor
Westchester Tractor has been a New Holland construction and industrial equipment dealer since its founding in 1976 by John Apple in Goldens Bridge, N.Y.
Early on, Westchester Tractor also focused on the Ford tractor backhoe loader and industrial tractor line. In the mid 1980s, the company expanded to include more construction equipment and later added ground maintenance equipment.
After having been in the same location for almost 20 years and in Goldens Bridge for 30 years, Westchester Tractor today is located in Brewster, N.Y.
Founder John Apple has been in the construction equipment business since graduating from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y. He has been active in professional associations, serving three years as president of the Metropolitan Equipment Distributors of New York, and chairing the North American Dealer Council for Ford Tractor in 1985. Apple and Westchester Tractor also have received numerous sales and service awards.
In addition to New Holland, Westchester Tractor carries Kobelco excavators and implements; Doosan excavators, loaders and attachments; Kubota excavators, lawn mowers, loaders, tractors, utility vehicles and attachments; Kawasaki loaders; and Bandit chippers, shredders and grinders.
Westchester Tractor customers include excavating contractors, homebuilders, municipalities, golf courses, cemeteries, and homeowners in seven counties in southern New York.
Westchester Tractor also provides used and rental equipment.
