Representatives from FAE USA’s top 50 North American dealers gathered March 8 and 9 in Flowery Branch, Ga., to learn more about the company’s machines and to tour its new facility.

While all of the manufacturer’s machines were on display, it focused on the PrimeTech PT-Gator 350 prime mover. Some dealers had already been selling the newest offering from FAE’s sister company, PrimeTech, but for others this was the first time seeing the machine in action.

All of the dealers who attended the event said they were impressed with the performance of the PrimeTech PT-Gator 350.

“It’s got a lot of push power and a good feel,” said Chris Bushee of Stonehenge Equipment in Defuniak Springs, Fla. “You can tell it was designed by a company that understands the whole concept of mulching and that type of work.”

Al Randall of Southeast Track Loader in Glennville, Ga., was impressed with its power and said that “it’s a very nimble machine for its size.”

Jim Underwood of Northside Tool Rental in Atlanta concurred.

“The sound level was unbelievable in the cab and you can’t hear much of anything outside of the machine,” he said. “It’s like sitting in your living room in a big comfortable seat.”

The annual event “makes everyone more comfortable with the commitment we’re making to the market and to the dealers,” said CEO Giorgio Carera.

Two dealers — Southeast Track Loader in Georgia and Moore’s Service Center in Texas — were awarded a trip to visit FAE’s and PrimeTech’s main headquarters in Italy.
