Equipment demonstrations included this hydraulic rotary screen attachment, which is being manufactured in Connecticut and is offered for sale through East PBE. East PBE offers Indeco hydraulic breakers. Brody’s Grandpa, Kurt, is one of the factory certified Parts Technicians on staff at East PBE. The East PBE facility in Newington, Conn., offers a wide variety of new and used equipment  for sale and rent. Attendance was very strong at this year’s open house and several machines were sold the day of the event. Jean Boniface presents door prizes to Tim and T.J. Wheeler of Wheeler Construction, Canton, Conn. The equipment demonstration area gave people a feel for what to expect from their new equipment once it leaves the showroom floor. Paul Lachapelle, Paul’s Trucking and Excavating, registers for the door prizes.  Handling the registration are Holly Bodnar (R) and Donna Boniface (C). A picture perfect day is topped off with a barbecued pork feast. Art Goulart (L), Goulart & Son Excavation,  Bozrah, Conn., checks out the Dropstatt SM514 trommel screen with Charlie Patienaude, East PBE. This Komatsu 51PX dozer is equipped with Topcon grading technology and was available for hands-on demonstrations. Discussing the use of Topcon grading equipment are (L-R) Steve Plamondon, Eric Long and Richard Farrell, all of Buntz Positioning; and Dan Caruso of East PBE.

On Saturday, May 22 East PBE held an open house at its facility in Newington, Conn. The event included equipment displays and demonstrations from manufacturers, including Kubota, Komatsu, Esco, Mauldin, Boxer, Indeco, Bomag and Gehl.

Attendees were treated to refreshments and a hog roast, along with door prizes and giveaways throughout the day.
