In March of 2004, Moxy Trucks of America LLC formed its retail equipment division, naming the new division Moxy Equipment Company.
Moxy Equipment, located at One Kovach Dr. in Cincinnati, is the authorized Moxy ADT dealer for Ohio and for Daewoo Heavy Industries America Corporation in southwestern Ohio, northern Kentucky and southeastern Indiana.
The company is a full service dealer providing sales, rental service and parts for both manufacturers.
Tim Sheeran, president of Moxy Trucks of America LLC named Greg Gerbus as general manager of Moxy Equipment Company.
According to Gerbus, the Daewoo line of products complements its Moxy product line and will enable Moxy Equipment Company to bring the highest level of service and value to the markets it serves.
The retail store, located at the Moxy Trucks of America LLC facility, will take advantage of its existing full machine shop, six service bays and a 40,000-sq.-ft. (3,716 sq m) parts warehouse.
Moxy Trucks of America moved into the new facility in January of 2000. The building was designed and built by the company to meet its present needs and anticipated growth.
The Moxy Equipment Company’s product range includes 2 to 7 cu. yd. (1.53 to 5.4 cu m) wheel loaders; 28,000 to 44,000 lbs. (12,700 to 19,958 kg) wheeled excavators; and 12,000 to 110,000 lbs. (5,443 to 49,895 kg) crawler excavators.
Moxy Equipment’s territory covers Hamilton, Butler, Warren, Clermont, Brown, Clinton, Greene, Montgomery, Preble, Darke, Miami and Clark counties in Ohio; Boone, Kenton, Campbell, Gallatin, Grant, Pendleton, Bracken, Mason, Trimble, Henry, Owen, Harrison, Robertson, Oldham, Shelby, Franklin, Scott, Fayette, Bourbon, Nichols and Jefferson counties in Kentucky; and Randolph, Wayne, Union, Franklin, Dearborn, Ohio, Switzerland, Jefferson, Clark, Floyd, Harrison, Crawford, Orange, Lawrence, Monroe, Brown, Bartholomew, Decatur, Rush, Fayette, Ripley, Jennings, Scott, Jackson, and Washington counties in Indiana.
Ohio customers are serviced by sales representative Roger Reese, who handles both Moxy and Daewoo product lines for the company.
According to Moxy Equipment, a sales representative in place to cover Kentucky and Indiana will be in place by the end of July.
