Fairchild JCB recently welcomed more than 250 guests to celebrate its grand opening. JCB CEO John Patterson attended the event to present both Gary and Chad Fairchild with a commemorative plaque. The event also was attended by Burnsville Mayor Elizabeth Kautz, who helped with the ribbon cutting ceremony.
The new 50,000 sq. ft. facility has plenty of room for JCB’s latest equipment to be displayed in the front lobby; a 12,000 sq. ft. shop area with eight service bays but with the capacity to add 12 more; a training room with stadium seating for new equipment and service seminars; a large parts department; and plenty of office space for salesmen and assistants.
“This is where the majority of other construction industry companies are located — all of the other dealerships are down here,” said Chad Fairchild, general manager. “We have a great product to sell and great people working for us. The next step was moving into a great place.”
Attendees enjoyed a luncheon catered by KFC and the opportunity to win prizes such as hats, flahslights, tape measures, and a grand prize 42 in. LED smart flat screen TV.
Fairchild Equipment also is the Yale dealer in the area.
