The staff of Florida Coast Equipment Inc.’s newest location has found its groove just three months since its opening.

The Stuart, Fla., branch, located on S.W. Old Kansas Avenue, is led by Branch Manager Joe Moreno. He is joined by Kim Amos, outside sales; Jason Watson, parts and service manager; and two other employees.

The new branch joins the company’s locations in Boynton Beach, which opened in 1985, and Naples. It covers all of Martin County, as well as parts of Palm Beach and Okeechobee counties.

Florida Coast Equipment offers Kubota’s full line of mini excavators, tractors and mowers, as well as Terex compact equipment and the full line of Takeuchi skid steers, track loaders, front end loaders and mini excavators.

It also handles the Bandit line of stump grinders and chippers, the Bush Hog line of mowers, Jacto sprayers and a wide variety of attachments.

The new branch features a 6,000-sq.-ft. indoor showroom.

“Our philosophy is to give our customers a different experience,” said Moreno. “We have a large indoor showroom where our customers can see most models. They can climb all over and under them without getting hot, wet or dirty.”

The branch also has an outside demonstration area.

Moreno said prices are posted on each machine in the showroom. “We want the customer to have a very open and friendly experience when buying equipment from us.”

He said the same attitude carries over to the service department.

“We pride ourselves on a very quick turnaround on equipment that is brought in for service,” Moreno said. “We know that when our customers’ machines are down for service, they aren’t making any money, so we work hard to keep the time in our shop down.”

The shop is approximately 6,500 sq. ft. and includes eight service bays.
