National Equipment Dealers (NED) welcomed dignitaries, staff members and customers on Oct. 28, 2026, to celebrate the official grand opening of its new facility in Jefferson, Ga.
The event featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony, facility tours, giveaways and a barbecue lunch.
Situated on a 4-acre parcel, the new 15,000-sq.-ft. facility is a ground-up construction project designed to fill a geographic gap in NED's northeast Georgia sales and service territory.
Designated a “Hyundai Flagship” location, the branch offers extensive visibility from Interstate 85 and is located approximately halfway between Hyundai's North American headquarters in Norcross, Ga., and its training center in Carnesville, Ga.
The front portion of the facility features a two-story section. The lower level houses sales offices and a conference room, while the upper level includes a training room and the Aftermarket Solutions Center, which serves as a command center for machine monitoring.
The facility also features eight service bays, all equipped with access to a 5-ton overhead crane. Larger-than-typical shop doors and 37-ft. ceiling clearance accommodate some of the industry's largest machines. Behind the facility, an environmentally friendly wash bay serves an expansive yard filled with new and used equipment.
During the ceremony, NED CEO Zack Kavanaugh welcomed the crowd and shared insights into the company's history, growth and longstanding relationship with Hyundai. He also expressed his appreciation to local dignitaries for welcoming NED to the community and helping facilitate construction of the new facility.
Kavanaugh recognized numerous NED employees whose efforts helped prepare the branch for its opening. He concluded by emphasizing the company's commitment to its customers and long-term relationships.
“To our customers, none of this exists without you,” he said. “We truly believe in long-term partnerships. We don't simply want transactional relationships; we want ones that will last for decades.”
Mike Ross, CEO of Hyundai Construction Equipment North America, and Jesse Beasley, president of NED, also addressed attendees. Both thanked NED and Hyundai employees for their work in bringing the project to fruition and creating a first-class facility designed to serve Hyundai customers for decades to come.
