Mike Kubas, vice president of Foley power systems and on highway divisions announced that Foley Incorporated has joined Crane Carrier Company’s sales and service network as a new dealer of Crane Carrier Company’s custom-engineered heavy-duty Class 8, diesel and alternate fueled truck chassis.

Crane Carrier was founded in 1946 and began by reinforcing and re-manufacturing surplus military vehicles for the construction and petroleum industries. Today Crane designs and manufactures its own custom chassis for the mobile crane market, including specialized chassis for waste collection, construction, mobile drilling, mining, terminal tractors for commercial, military and other applications where reliable heavy-duty chassis equipment is essential. Each of Crane Carrier’s chassis products are engineered to fulfill special or extreme operational service requirements, which are not otherwise met by mass producers of Class 8 trucks, primarily designed for on-highway service. Crane Carrier was purchased by Illinois Tool Works in August of 2008.

Operating out of the on highway division, Foley Incorporated will be a sales, service and parts provider of Crane Carrier Company’s equipment.

Bill Connolly, Foley on highway sales manager, said, “Alongside Seagrave Fire Apparatus and the Caterpillar Vocational Truck, the addition of Crane Carrier Company products expands our opportunity to serve the on highway market.”
