Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers has announced that it surpassed the $50 million dollar mark in gross auction sales over the Internet for the year, during an auction in Houston, TX.

The two-day auction, held on November 6th and 7th at the company’s permanent auction site in Houston, generated gross auction sales in excess of $21 million dollars, including record sales to Internet bidders of more than $3.6 million, using the company’s rbauctionBid-Live service.
