HD Construction Equipment Hyundai North America announced on June 29, 2026, the availability of updated HA30 and HA45 articulated dump trucks featuring a redesigned operator environment, enhanced serviceability and a common digital interface that aligns with Hyundai's latest generation of heavy equipment.
As construction fleets continue adopting connected equipment and standardized controls, Hyundai has extended the same intuitive interface introduced on its newest HX excavators to its articulated dump truck lineup. The result is a familiar operating experience regardless of machine type, allowing operators to move between machines with greater confidence while reducing setup and training time.
The redesigned cab combines productivity with comfort. Larger front and side windows improve visibility around the machine, while a heated air-suspension seat, automatic climate control, and ergonomic positioning of key interfaces and controls make long shifts more comfortable.
A new 12.5-in., eye-level touchscreen monitor serves as the machine's central command center. The display provides quick access to payload information, performance data, diagnostics, camera views and machine settings. A redesigned color-coded keypad further simplifies machine operation.
"We're working to make every Hyundai machine feel familiar to operate," said Joe Hodges, product manager, HD Construction Equipment Hyundai North America. "Whether an operator moves from an excavator into an articulated dump truck or vice versa, they'll find the same interface design, reducing their learning curve while helping owners maximize productivity across their fleet." Hodges said Hyundai plans to apply this hardware and software to other new heavy equipment models moving forward.
New Hyundai ADTs also include enhanced productivity, safety and serviceability
A new "auto squat" feature lowers the truck's front end for easy entry and exit. The updated ADTs also introduce an automatic brake-hold system for smoother loading cycles and include integrated payload weighing and gradient monitoring to help improve productivity while supporting safe operation.
Routine maintenance was simplified through ground-level service access, grouped maintenance points, easier access to filters and fluid fill locations and a tilting cab with self-positioning safety locks that provides convenient access to the engine compartment.
Built for earthmoving, quarry, mining and infrastructure applications, the HA45 and HA30 continue to deliver outstanding traction, maneuverability and stability while pairing with Hyundai excavators and wheel loaders on high-production job sites.
The HA45 features a 45-ton payload and a 489-net-horsepower Scania engine, while the HA30 offers a 30-ton payload with a 367-net-horsepower Scania engine. Both models incorporate ZF 8-speed automatic transmissions engineered for demanding production environments.
Every new Hyundai articulated dump truck comes with five years of complimentary Hyundai Connect telematics, giving owners remote access to fleet performance, diagnostics, maintenance information and machine location. Hyundai backs both models with a standard 3-year/3,000-hour full-machine warranty and a 5-year/10,000-hour structural warranty, with Hyundai Extend coverage also available.
