Volvo Construction Equipment North America’s Illinois dealer, McAllister Equipment Co. of Alsip (Chicago), Ill., will acquire Volvo Construction Equipment & Services (VCES) branches located in Villa Park and Springfield, Ill.
The purchase of the two VCES branches was announced in a joint statement by Jack Moser, president of McAllister Equipment, and Tim Frank, senior vice president of operations and strategy for Volvo Construction Equipment North America.
The acquisition expands the number of locations presently operated by McAllister Equipment to six, which it said strengthens its position in its territory. Current VCES sales negotiations, warranties and sales agreements will be assumed and honored by McAllister Equipment and complete inventories of products and parts will be available.
“The incorporation of the two VCES stores with our dealership will be seamless and uninterrupted,” said Moser. “We welcome the customers of these branches to our dealership, where they will receive the very best of service, products and support that Volvo Construction Equipment and McAllister have to offer.”
McAllister Equipment, a Volvo Construction Equipment dealer for many years, recently established a Volvo Rents franchise within its corporation.
