Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas introduced wheel loader and excavator models from its new A Series, all of which feature new generation Cummins Performance Series diesel engines that achieve compliance with international Stage 5 emissions-control standards.

Global power leader Cummins Inc. had a full showcase of power solutions, ranging from advanced diesel engines and powertrain components to connectivity solutions as well as electric and fuel cell technologies on display at the 2019 North American Commercial Vehicle Show (NACV) in Atlanta.

Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas unveiled the prototype of a fully electric-powered compact excavator at its exhibit in the ICUEE show. Hyundai and Cummins Inc. collaborated in developing the electric-powered Hyundai R35E compact excavator. The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) and SAE International established the award in 1996 to recognize an outstanding young engineer in the off-highway or powerplant industry.

Cummins Inc. is expanding its 2020 X15 portfolio with a new X15 Efficiency Series engine and the X15 Productivity Series offering operational efficiency without compromising the performance and drivability that drivers demand. The 2020 X15 Efficiency Series engine delivers up to 5 percent better fuel economy than the prior X15 Efficiency Series engine and is designed for increased uptime and improved driver satisfaction, according to the manufacturer.

Cummins, Inc. became the first power generator manufacturer to obtain the 2018 International Building Code (IBC) seismic certification. The IBC code ‘provides minimum requirements to safeguard the public health, safety and general welfare of the occupants of new and existing buildings and structures'.

Cummins Inc. 's latest integrated diesel power solution from the Cummins Integrated Power portfolio — the X15 paired with the Endurant transmission — is now available with Navistar in both the International LoneStar and LT Series trucks.

LiuGong North America's new E-Series excavators include the 915E, 922E, 925E, 930E and 936E models. The machines feature best-in-class fuel consumption and an integrated ROPS cab meeting ISO 12117-2 safety standards. A standard rear-view camera improves operator visibility when traveling.

Adding Brammo's battery pack expertise and resources is an important milestone in Cummins efforts to become a global electrified power leader, according to the company.
