To better support customers and leverage the power of its wholly-owned network, Komatsu has created a new structure in North America to strengthen the growth of company-owned distributor branches. A new corporate unit within Komatsu has been created and effective immediately, all company-owned distributor locations will be branded simply "Komatsu" to reflect their inclusion in the company's global footprint.

Cemen Tech has announced agreements with two major construction equipment dealerships in the United States to sell and service the company's full line of volumetric concrete mixing equipment. The new dealers are: Komatsu Equipment Company — 11 locations in Nevada, Utah and Wyoming Reynolds-Warren Equipment Company — Two locations in Georgia "The demand for direct control over concrete scheduling, quality and quantity, is growing as more customers understand the practical benefits of volumetric concrete mixing," said Connor Deering, CEO/president of Cemen Tech.

Bomag Americas Inc. and Komatsu America Corp. announced that Komatsu's six company-owned dealerships (Edward Ehrbar, Komatsu Equipment Company, Komatsu Northeast, Komatsu Southwest, Midlantic Machinery and Pine Bush Equipment) have entered into an arrangement for the sale and support of Bomag compaction, milling, paving and reclaiming/stabilizing equipment for roadbuilding and other construction markets.

Komatsu Equipment Company, headquartered in Salt Lake City, with locations in Nevada, Utah and Wyoming, broke ground on Oct. 17 on its new facility in Elko, Nev. The $47 million state-of-the-art, 189,000 sq. ft. branch will be built on approximately 30 acres at 4450 P&H Drive and will be staffed with nearly 150 employees.
