It's a bright summer day on one of America's sketchiest, yet breathtaking roadways. Snow flurries drift from above, then drift down the steep cliffs that hallmark this famous highway that goes along the Montana and Wyoming border, through Yellowstone National Park.

As part of the Texas Department of Transportation's I-35 Comal County Operational Improvements project in the San Antonio area, Bridges and Roads LLC is covering the portion from FM 2252 to Schwab Road in the city of New Braunfels. Work on the $24.5 million contract, financed by state and federal funds, began on July 9, 2019 and has an anticipated completion date of Summer 2021.

RDO Equipment Company's Steve Connelly, vice president of Midwest agriculture, and Mark Kreps, vice president of sales — Agriculture were killed in a two-vehicle crash on Aug. 19, 5 mi. west of Groton, S.D. Mr. Connelly was responsible for providing leadership to all agriculture stores in Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.

Representatives of RDO Equipment Co.'s Sauk Rapids, Minn., location delivered a new machine to a customer, Swift County in Benson, Minn. This John Deere 710L is the company's largest backhoe on the market with a 17-ft. 3-in. dig depth. This makes it ideal for loading trucks, placing pipe, digging trenches, breaking up concrete and asphalt, and moving materials.

The Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority's (Mobility Authority) $743 million, 183 South project in Greater Austin will consist of a new tolled expressway with three lanes in each direction on an 8-mi. section of U.S. 183 between U.S. 290 and SH 71.

Just in time for the busy summer construction season, RDO Equipment Co.'s new, full-service store in Dayton is open. The Dayton store is the result of an integration between two previously separate stores in the area and is designed to better meet the equipment and technology needs of customers in the north metro area.

As part of the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) state Route 11 (SR-11)/Otay Mesa East Port of Entry project, crews from Skanska US Civil are constructing the final segment of the future toll road SR-11 and the southbound connector ramps, linking southbound State Route 125 (SR-125) to eastbound SR-11 and eastbound state Route 905 (SR-905).

As part of the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) Interstate 805 South Corridor Enhancement Projects, SEMA Construction Inc. was tapped to build five separate sound wall segments along I-805 between Naples Street in the city of Chula Vista and state Route 54 (SR 54) in the city of National City.
