Manitowoc is honoring 12 Potain dealers for their dedication in providing NCCCO training and certification for self-erecting tower cranes for the industry. Daiane Quinlan, Potain's North American sales director, said that these training programs are crucial for Potain to maintain its high standards when servicing customers, as the self-erecting crane market and demand grows strongly in the region.

On July 16, 2020, at Stephenson Equipment's headquarters in Harrisburg, Pa., the "Stars & Stripes" paver was delivered to Hoffer Paving and a donation of $25,150.00 was presented to support the Gary Sinise Foundation. A small, socially distanced event was held bringing together friends and family of Stephenson Equipment who made possible the first-ever Stars & Stripes themed LeeBoy paver.

Together Stephenson Equipment and LeeBoy are putting together the first ever "Stars & Stripes" version of LeeBoy's 8520B asphalt paver in support of The Gary Sinise Foundation. Over the past few months, Stephenson and LeeBoy have been compiling a significant donation in support of the Gary Sinise Foundation and its Emergency COVID-19 Combat Service Campaign.

Gary Plasencia, a crane sales veteran, will be representing Stephenson Equipment's crane and heavy lifting line in the eastern New York area served by its branch operation located in Waterford, N.Y., near Albany. Plasencia has been working in the crane and heavy lifting solutions business for customers and companies in the eastern New York area for the past 8 years.

Stephenson Equipment (SEI) has been in the trailer business for generations and represents Rogers and Felling trailers mainly out of its Philadelphia, Pa., branch. When the opportunity became available to become the authorized Rogers dealer of western Pennsylvania as well, SEI was excited to grow this business.

Stephenson Equipment introduced Nick Stredny as its territory manager in the northeast Pennsylvania area. Stredny will be representing the JCB and Bandit lines of equipment. Stredny brings 17 years of experience with construction equipment, including JCB's, chippers, grinders and forestry machinery.

Stephenson Equipment announced the hiring of Chad Jacobs as its new tower crane specialist. Jacobs has more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry, including 15 years of experience with cranes and lift planning on job sites. Jacobs looks forward to bringing the new lifting solutions and cost-effectiveness that tower cranes offer and informing customers about the safety and efficiency advantages these cranes provide, as well as helping customers with lift planning solutions.

Stephenson Equipment is a Bomag heavy highway dealership covering the states of Pennsylvania and New York with sales, service, parts and rentals of machines like Bomag's line of rollers, milling machines, and highway class pavers. "Road building and asphalt paving are core focuses of ours here at Stephenson Equipment, having Bomag name us ‘Top Milling' dealership, and ‘Outstanding Dealership' helps to mark how we continually work to be the best dealership for our customers with all the manufacturers and brands we represent," said EVP of Sales and Marketing Charlie Walsh while he was at BOMAG Innovation Days held in late October at the Bomag's headquarters in South Carolina.

The equipment dealer group regularly tackles important business issues, such as workforce development and regional construction forecasts during its meetings; however, the subject matter for the Fall meeting, though unique, was equally, and unfortunately, important for every business today — how to create the best possible workplace active shooter safety plan.

Stephenson Equipment Inc. (SEI), a Harrisburg, Pa.-based National Crane dealer, took delivery of its fourth new NTC55L boom truck at the 2019 International Construction and Utility Exposition (ICUEE). According to Darin D'Ascanio, territory manager of SEI, the new crane will be attractive to customers in many different segments, including utility work, tree care and crane rental.

Stephenson Equipment Inc. (SEI) has named Charlie Walsh as its executive vice president to head the sales teams at the company. With the retirement of Dennis Heller, who has stayed on with SEI as chairman of the board, Walsh moves into the sales management role Heller has lead for many years.
