I.R.A.Y. Auction, a Minnesota-based company, has solidified its operations into Wisconsin.
I.R.A.Y will host its first-ever sale in Madison, Wis., May 1 at 8 a.m. The Wisconsin Heavy Construction Equipment Consignment Auction will include heavy equipment, trucks, trailers and miscellaneous items from local and regional consignees.
I.R.A.Y. plans to hold quarterly auctions at the Madison facility, located on 201 Zoi Lane, Deforest Wis.
Interested participants must consigned by March 31 for free auction flyer advertising. Consignments will be accepted until April 25.
In 2008, the company held one-time heavy equipment liquidation auction in Hayward, Wis. Due to the auction’s success, I.R.A.Y. began plans to establish a more prominent presence in the state.
I.R.A.Y. facilitates auctions for a variety of business operations including construction, trucking, mining, forestry, farming, and real estate. The company specializes in heavy equipment and real estate auctions as well as equipment appraisals.
I.R.A.Y. is owned and operated by Ray and Cheryl Henry. Ray is a third generation auctioneer and certified equipment appraiser.
“This is a people business,” said Ray. “Our main objective is not only to bring buyers and sellers together, we must also be effective. We want them to know that if they bring their business to I.R.A.Y., they will get results.”
