Iveco Enters Agreement With General Machinery and Electric

Iveco Motors of North America, a Fiat Powertrain Technologies (FPT) brand, has signed an exclusive agreement with General Machinery and Electric Inc. for the distribution and service of Iveco Motors’ diesel engines and parts throughout western Montana.

General Machinery specializes in the sales, service and parts distribution of Iveco Motors’ diesel engines for the industrial and power generation markets. As a direct distributor of Iveco Motors’ of North America, General Machinery will offer each line of engines as they enter the North American marketplace.

Iveco Motors’ complete line of engines covers outputs from 40 to 2,150 hp and allows for custom configuration of all industrial and power generation applications.

“General Machinery has a strong knowledge of their industry and of Iveco Motors’ engines,” said Vincenzo Perrone, general manager, Iveco Motors of North America. “This knowledge along with their dedication to their customer makes for an ideal partnership.”

The activities of Iveco Motors of North America, together with all the other Iveco Motors activities around the world, converged in March 2005 in the “Industrial & Marine” product line of FPT. The new sector of the Fiat Group integrates all the group’s capabilities and expertise in engines and transmissions.

Iveco Motors has operations in Carol Stream, IL, to deliver service throughout Canada, Mexico and the United States.
