Each year, JCB selects ten salesmen who are exceptional contributors to the company’s success and growth, and of those ten individuals, one is recognized as the top salesmen in North America.

This year, JCB has named Christopher Shea salesman of the year. He was honored at JCB’s worldwide dealer conference in Las Vegas March 11.

Shea has distinguished himself among an elite group of talented and driven individuals in an extremely competitive market selling more machines than any other JCB salesman in 2007.

“It is an honor to be selected salesman of the year,” said Shea. “With the quality of our product line and the financial packages available, it is a great time to be part of JCB. I would like to thank my customers who have supported JCB and Low Country Machinery and put their trust in me.”

Shea is a sales representative for Low Country Machinery, the JCB dealer covering the coastal Georgia region. He began his career at the dealership four years ago in the parts and service department. He quickly transitioned in to a sales position covering Chatham, Effingham, Bulloch, Chandler, Hampton, Jasper and Beaufort counties.

“Chris embodies all of the qualities JCB looks for in a salesman,” said Joe Ignore, JCB vice president of sales. “He believes in the product and our company philosophy of customer service. He is committed to his customers and has built strong relationships that have paid off in consistent sales numbers. Chris is a great ambassador for JCB and we are proud to honor him with this recognition.”
