Construction Equipment Guide

Jesco is now an official QUALCOMM distributor offering John Deere equipment ready for JDLink System installation.

The JDLink system automatically collects, transmits and manages information about where and how construction and forestry equipment is being used and records critical machine data for superior equipment performance and utilization. Additionally, it issues special alerts to notify customers if equipment moves outside of pre-set boundaries, to minimize misuse and theft.

“The JDLink System will help our customers become more efficient and profitable,” stated Jon Robustelli, president of Jesco. “Jesco and John Deere are pushing the construction technology envelope to continually meet and exceed the needs of our customers.”

Four levels of service will be offered to customers of the JDLink System. Standard Level Service will provide owners with machine location status, machine service hours and location monitoring capabilities. Advanced Level Service will provide customers with the Standard Level, plus dashboard indicators and fuel and equipment utilization information through engine load monitoring. Ultimate Level Service expands upon these offerings by adding current and stored monitoring of component pressures and temperatures, fuel consumption, as well as transmission gear selection and full-featured diagnostic information retrieval. The Direct Level enables customers to download machine operation history and diagnostics directly to a laptop.

Advanced, Ultimate and Direct Level Services are now available on select models of John Deere construction and forestry equipment. Standard Level Service was launched in the fall.
