New Jersey equipment dealer Jesco has purchased a new track press that will enable its certified service technicians to do all undercarriage work in house. As a result, area contractors with track equipment will be able to get their machine back to work quickly when undercarriage repairs or maintenance are required.

The new track press, along with factory-trained service technicians, will enable Jesco to cut repair time in half.

“Because we no longer have to ship the tracks out for repair, we are able to save our customers money through reduced downtime and shipping costs,” said Jesco Vice President Jon Robustelli.

“This capability, along with the other preventive maintenance programs that we provide are designed to keep our customers up and running.”

Although Jesco is a John Deere dealership, it has a large selection of parts in stock and the ability to do full undercarriage work on all make and model dozers, excavators or other crawler machinery. Whether it’s a simple pin and bushing turn, replacing a link or worn rollers, or a full track replacement, Jesco can provide one-stop shopping and prompt, courteous service for contractors’ undercarriage needs.

“Since we can do the undercarriage work in-house, Jesco is now a full-service dealership,” said Jim Pennell, service manager of Jesco’s Lumberton branch.

“Now customers can come to Jesco for all their repair needs, from minor service, to track work, to major overhauls, all at one location. This will really cut down on our customers’ downtime, reduce repair time and eliminate shipping costs.”

Jesco also offers a wide range of other preventive maintenance programs to help customers keep their equipment running at peak efficiency. All Jesco service technicians have completed extensive training courses through John Deere and other OEM’s, which enable them to spot potential problems before they lead to unexpected downtime.

Some of the other preventive maintenance services Jesco provides are: extended coverage warranties, pro-rated extended warranties, fluid analysis, planned maintenance agreements, component lifecycle analysis, parts availability, remanufactured components and wear parts.

For more than 30 years, Jesco has been supplying customers in New Jersey with construction equipment and parts, service and customized financing options. With three branches, in North (Fairfield), Central (South Plainfield) and South Jersey (Lumberton), a large inventory of parts and machinery and a full fleet of service vehicles, Jesco ensures that its customers’ equipment stays in top condition.
