JLG to Increase Annual Sales from $1 Billion to $2 Billion, Says Company President

JLG Industries Inc. will be making a presentation on April 4, 2001 at an international investors forum during Bauma 2001, the 26th International Trade Fair, in Munich, Germany. Salomon Smith Barney is hosting company presentations that will provide an update on construction industry trends.

Bill Lasky, JLG’s chairman of the board, president and CEO, will discuss some of the company’s strategies for continued growth and profitability.

"Our strategic business plan calls for increasing annual sales from $1 billion to $2 billion over the next five years," said Lasky. "Our JLG Europe organization along with our commitment to open an overseas manufacturing facility later this year clearly position us to capitalize on growing demand for our lift technology products outside of North America."

Bauma 2001 is the largest international construction equipment trade fair, and more than 2,000 manufacturers from 42 countries are expected to exhibit their product lines during the event from April 2 through April 8.

JLG will be showcasing its "Generation E" products, the company’s line of electric articulating boom lifts, which feature multi-power sources and simultaneous lift/swing functions.
