Murphy Tractor and Equipment Co., the John Deere construction equipment dealer organization in Topeka, Kan., has added Chadd Blackwood and Justin Pape as territory sales managers and Heidi Seeber as rental manager at the company’s Omaha, Neb., facility.

Blackwood has nine years of experience in sales, working as a representative for Goodyear tires. This background gives him knowledge of a broad range of heavy equipment and has made him familiar with the industry in the area.

Blackwood is responsible for sales and customer service for Murphy Tractor in a 19 county region spanning north and west of Topeka.

“Chadd Blackwood brings a strong customer service background to Murphy Tractor. We expect our customers to benefit greatly from his enthusiasm and the relationships he has established in the area,” said Mike Curry, branch manager, Topeka.

Seeber has been with Murphy Tractor for 12 years and has worked in the Omaha branch as an administrative assistant, working a great deal with the sales team and the rental process.

“We are very excited to have a rental manager here in Omaha and are pleased to offer this service to the construction market in this area. Having a dedicated position to focus on rental needs will greatly benefit our customers. As territory sales manager, Pape will be responsible for equipment sales in Grand Island and in the area south and east of the city.

He has worked for three years as a customer support advisor for another John Deere dealership in Seattle, Wash.

“Justin has extraordinary enthusiasm and focus,” said Branch Manager Lyle Karsten. “He is a sharp young man with a very personable nature — we feel extremely lucky to have him.”
