Construction Equipment Guide

Kenworth Truck Company offers an aftermarket crew cab conversion option for Kenworth T170, T270 and T370 medium duty conventional models. The option is for the fuel oil, fire and rescue, towing and recovery, leasing and rental market and utility segments.

The 157-in. (399 cm) BBC crew cab uses a one-piece fiberglass roof with 4-in. (10 cm) raised rear section, which provides up to 61 in. (155 cm) of interior height. The remaining crew cab structure is aluminum and provides an additional 52 in. (132 cm) of length and is 84 in. (213 cm) wide at the rear.

Also standard are Kenworth DayLite door assemblies and door panels, Granite Gray vinyl interior trim, Kenworth interior upper B-pillar and exterior grab handles, and DuPont Imron Elite single stage paint.

Crew cab options include an extended horizontal exhaust pipe, separate heater or heater/air conditioner, exterior access steps, carpet and custom trim packages, and DuPont Imron Elite base/clear paint. Bench and bucket seats are available in addition to fire service SCBA seats.

The crew cab conversion is done in partnership with Bentz Transport Products.
