Kirby-Smith Names Leach, Shupe to New Posts in Ft. Worth, TX

Kirby-Smith Machinery Inc. has announced management changes at its Ft Worth, TX, branch.

Fred Leach has been named Ft. Worth branch manager. As of May 1, 2004, he is responsible for all facets of Kirby-Smith’s boom truck business in North Texas as well as future business development.

Leach was first introduced to Kirby-Smith in 2002 as a territory manager of the crane division in North Texas. He brings over 15 years experience in the equipment rental and sales business in Texas and New Mexico.

Ron Shupe has been appointed product support sales representative of the Ft. Worth branch. Shupe was recruited by Kirby-Smith five years ago due to his extensive experience with the Komatsu and Dresser parts business.

His most recent responsibilities as branch manager in Ft. Worth also have enabled him to gain expertise in parts and service support for National cranes.

Kirby-Smith Machinery is based in Oklahoma City, with branch offices in St Louis, Tulsa and Ft Worth. As an authorized dealer for National Cranes, the Ft Worth facility offers boom trucks for sale or lease, after-sale support for parts and service, custom-mounting on customer or in-stock trucks, and a large stock of wireline cranes for sale, rent or lease.
