Members of the media were treated to a tour of the factory led by Bruce Viau, international sales coordinator of KPI-JCI and Astec Mobile Screens. Here Bruce is showing an electrical panel for a 4500 VSI with twin 300 h.p. motors.
KPI-JCI recently hosted a meeting for 65 North American dealers and launched 10 new or improved pieces of equipment as well as a new parts line called S-Series, which is an exclusive brand of cone liners and jaw dies, developed by Astec Industries foundry experts. The company also launched its new website, new product animations and new interactive dealer sales tools. Among the new and improved equipment introduced was the new portable tow-behind conveyor, the new portable K300/6203CC, the new GT205 track-mounted multi-frequency screen and the new GT104 track-mounted screening plant.
The company also honored 12 of its North American dealers for sales and service excellence. The premier award given this year was the Top Sales and Marketing award, and this year, Thompson Equipment of Lewiston, Maine, was recognized for its dedication.
