Jerry Tracey, president of Tracey Road Equipment, announced his company has been named the exclusive dealer of KPI-JCI aggregate equipment and Astec Mobile Screens for all of New York State (excluding the New York metropolitan area). KPI-JCI and Astec Mobile Screens are among the best-known brands in the aggregate industry today with more than 100 years of experience in designing, building and manufacturing some of the world's most innovative equipment.

Before earning his high school diploma, Kelly Fulfer was an experienced operator and had chosen a career path in construction. As a teen, he worked part time for a contractor in the Boise area and was running a backhoe by the time he was a junior. "During my senior year I had only a couple of classes, so I worked during the day, too," recalled Fulfer.

Astec Mobile Screens is launching a new line of compact, track-mounted equipment. The new equipment, marketed through licensed dealers as the Ranger line, will include a variety of jaw crushers, impact crushers, cone crushers, incline screens and trommels.

Kolberg-Pioneer has added a two-deck, 4 by 7 ft. pre-screen option to its FT4250 mobile impactor plant. The new option allows producers to scalp the feed, crush the material and post-screen all on one unit. By pre-screening the feed, users can maximize their scalping ability and minimize the amount of undersized material passing through the chamber, reducing wear costs and increasing the amount of final product by 30 percent.

Herman's Trucking and Recycling is a thriving, family owned business. Founded by Herman Steljes, the company currently is managed by Nick Rader, Herman's grandson, who works alongside his mother, Marilyn, whom he credits for being the brains behind the organization.

Johnson Crushers International Inc. has expanded its Kodiak Plus cone crusher series with the new K350+. This mid-range model offers higher production with a smaller footprint. In comparison to the K300+, the K350+ features increases in drive train, stroke, horsepower, weight, head diameter and hold-down force, resulting in an up to 10 percent capacity increase, according to the manufacturer.

Kolberg-Pioneer Inc. has partnered with Tecnoidea Impianti to offer water clarification systems in North America. The clarification systems accelerate the process of filtering fines from dirty water for reuse in the processing plant. These systems are designed to eliminate the need for large and expensive settling ponds by recovering up to 95 percent of the water that flows to the clarification system.

Kolberg Pioneer Inc. , Johnson Crushers International Inc. and Astec Mobile Screens Inc. announced the promotion of Darren Kirby to North America sales director — East. In his new position, Kirby will be responsible for directing, administering and coordinating all domestic field sales operations for the eastern region.

KPI-JCI and Astec Mobile Screens hosted North American dealers at its annual National Dealer Conference, held Sept. 11-13 at Astec Mobile Screens in Sterling, IL. Each year, KPI-JCI and Astec Mobile Screens host domestic dealer principals for educational sessions, product reviews, factory tours and recognition of sales and service excellence.

Goodfellow Crushers has been on a business roll. In fact, the Boulder City, Nev.-based company recently opened new branches in California, Arizona and northern Nevada. That brings the company's branch count up to five. The business' recent growth was spurred when Goodfellow bought Arizona's Dakota Fabricating's facility as well as some of the company's equipment in 2016.
