IEDA member dealer LSR Equipment recently opened a new location in Weatherford, Texas.

Previously, LSR was located in Justin, with a second location in Tyler. The Tyler location is not affected by the move.

Partners Will Singleton and Adam Rodgers have operated LSR for 10 years and see incredible opportunity in today's business environment.

“If a person wants to be busy today in the construction equipment world, they can be,” Singleton said. “There is plenty of business for everyone.”

The current market dictated the move to Weatherford, where the company has significantly more space. The new, larger building houses a service department in addition to company offices.

Singleton runs the Weatherford branch and Rodgers handles the operation in Tyler.

“Adam and I were working together for one of the large equipment rental companies and gradually began flipping equipment on our own,” Singleton said of the company's beginnings. “Over the years, it evolved into what we are today.”

Today, LSR specializes in earthmoving equipment, but sells all types of machines, including a good selection of paving equipment. The company maintains a huge inventory of Caterpillar and Komatsu machines, but offers a full array of manufacturers' lines.

The company prides itself in matching the right piece of equipment to each buyer's needs.

“Some contractors are looking for a $30,000 grader, while others are looking for one in the $175,000 range,” said Singleton. “We want to be able to help both. We are very low pressure in our approach. We just want to offer viable options to our customers.”

LSR has recently become a rental dealer for Fecon.

“We are very excited about adding their line of landclearing equipment and mulching attachments,” Singleton said.
