The Massachusetts Department of Transportation has announced a series of Summer Internship opportunities for incoming and current college students.

The full-time, paid internships are available to incoming or current college undergraduate or graduate students who will be enrolled full-time as a student in fall 2018. Most internships seek applicants with coursework in a related field.

The internships run from June through August in the following areas:

• Aeronautics engineering

• Aeronautics environmental

• Aeronautics executive

• Audit

• Highway engineering

• Highway operations

• HR executive internship

• HR marketing and communications

• Rail and transit

• RMV customer service

• Transportation planning
