Mathews Machinery Inc. has opened a new branch location in Fresno, Calif. The new facility will provide full service, sales, rental and parts operations for Volvo Construction Equipment in Fresno, Inyo, Kings, Madera, Mariposa, Merced, San Luis Obispo and Tulare counties.

Mathews Machinery’s Fresno branch will represent Volvo Construction Equipment’s complete line of products — wheel loaders, articulated haulers, excavators, motorgraders and compact equipment.

The announcement was made by Tom Mathews, president and CEO of Mathews Machinery Inc., who said, “With the opening of a branch in Fresno, we are closing the gap between our Bakersfield and Livermore locations, allowing us to better serve our customers in the Central Valley. We are delighted to be in the Fresno area.”

The new facility is located on more than 4 acres of land just off the 99 Freeway (Clovis Exit) in Fresno. There is a 6-bay, 4,900-sq. ft. heavy equipment shop, a 2,200-sq. ft. parts warehouse and 2,800-sq. ft. of office and training room space for a total of 9,900 sq. ft. under one roof.

“In celebration of our 5th anniversary, the opening of the Fresno store shows our growth and commitment to the California market,” said Mathews.

Mathews Machinery’s Fresno branch is now open for full service business operations located on 4501 East Volvo Ave. in Fresno.

Mathews Machinery Inc. is a family owned company distributing and servicing Volvo Construction Equipment for the construction and related industries and is represented throughout California with six branch locations (Bakersfield, Corona, Fresno, Livermore, Sacramento, San Diego).
