Mid-South Equipment Co., based in Chattanooga, TN, was recently named a full-line dealer for sales, service, parts and rentals of JCB products for south-central Tennessee, north Georgia, and north Alabama.

Mid-South Equipment Company’s ownership includes Roger Wallen, president; Noland Smith, vice president; and Woody Green, secretary/treasurer. All three men have risen to the challenge by immediately adding to the company’s service staff to take care of the existing machine population in its market as well as to provide optimal service to customers and prospects.

“It’s exciting to be associated with a manufacturer such as JCB that has a very reputable line,” said Wallen. “So far, the support we have received from JCB has been tremendous –– from the factory as well as the factory representatives. The lines of communication with them are extremely good, and when we have questions, JCB is quick with an answer. They are truly a hands-on, customer oriented company.”

Mid-South Equipment traditionally has been a compact equipment dealer.

“Now I can offer everything from a compact machine to a 100,000-pound excavator or five-yard wheel loader. When looking at taking on the line, I was impressed with [JCB’s] excavators. They are an excellent piece of equipment. The nice thing about JCB is that they manufacture their own products and people are very familiar with the product.”
