Harley W. Miller, president and co-founder of Miller Construction Company, has been installed as president of the South Florida Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP).
NAIOP provides developers and owners of industrial, office and related commercial real estate with support and guidance to create, protect and enhance property values. The South Florida Chapter, with more than 430 members, is the eighth largest of 46 NAIOP chapters in the United States, serving Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.
Miller has been active with the South Florida chapter since 1989, having served on the board of directors for eight years and on various committees.
Other 2003 South Florida Chapter officers include: Cotter Christian, The Hogan Group, vice president, public affairs; Debbie Colangelo, Black’s Guide Inc., vice president public relations; Stewart Pearlman, Flagler Development Company, vice president, education; Mark Levy, Opus South Corporation, treasurer; and Evan Brody, Evan J. Brody P.A., secretary. The president-elect is Peter Sheridan, of Premier Commercial Realty, Pompano Beach.
