With the Morbark quick switch conversion kit, it is now possible for Morbark horizontal grinder owners to convert their unit into a wood chipper, which can produce biomass chips by simply modifying the hammermill of their Morbark horizontal grinder. The quick switch conversion kit is a series of components, which convert a grinding hammermill into a smooth skinned drum with full sized chipping knives. The design makes the conversion possible in the field, without a crane, according to the manufacturer.
