More than 2,000 bidders participated online and in person at Ritchie Bros.' multi-million dollar unreserved public equipment auction in Orlando, Fla., on Aug. 16.

Bidders came from 47 countries, including all 50 U.S. states. Approximately 51 percent of the equipment in the auction was sold to out-of-state buyers, from as far away as Poland, Vietnam and Guyana. Online bidders purchased approximately 48 percent of the equipment sold (by dollar value).

Close to 1,900 equipment items and trucks were sold in the auction, including more than 50 compactors, 35 excavators, 25 skid steers, 255 aerial work platforms, 110 truck tractors, 100 trailers and more.
