The Morganti Group Inc. has appointed Joseph Kummer as vice president, Texas region, for the Connecticut-based construction group.

With a 21-year career and vast knowledge and experience in the construction sector, Kummer has worked in construction management, focusing in the healthcare/research, higher education, government and public works marketplaces. Throughout his career, Kummer successfully developed multiple Construction Management At Risk teams, oversaw projects from preconstruction through closeout, and executed projects as a superintendent, manager and estimator.

In his new role, Kummer will oversee Morganti’s operations in the Houston, Austin and San Antonio markets. He will be focused on staff development, project delivery, ensuring client satisfaction and developing new projects in residential, aviation, healthcare, municipal construction, K-12 and higher education.
