Multiquip Adds Howlett as New GCE Internal Division President

Mike Howlett has been appointed as the new president of the Multiquip’s general construction equipment (GCE) internal division effective Jan. 1, 2009. The announcement came from Tom Yasuda, chairman and CEO of Multiquip Inc.

With more than 25 years of experience in business administration, Howlett joined Multiquip in 1995 as operations manager and after two years was promoted to vice president of operations. He has been responsible for maintaining focus on order administration and fulfillment, policies, procedures and the overall managing of the systems’ operations to support sales.

Before joining Multiquip, Howlett held a series of responsible positions with Komatsu Forklift as a district manager, general sales manager and vice president of manufacturing.

“I am extremely confident that Mike will successfully move the GCE Division to new heights,” said Tom Yasuda.
