New Contract Supports Marine Pier, Facility Construction for NAVFAC Northwest

Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Northwest awarded a $700 million construction (MACC) contract for work towards marine piers and facilities at various locations. It is anticipated that majority of the work will occur in Washington state.

Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Northwest awarded multiple contractors on July 30, 2026, a $700 million combined-maximum-value indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple-award construction contract (MACC) for new construction, renovation, alteration, demolition and repair work for marine piers and facilities at various locations.

The contractors are Manson Construction Co. of Seattle, Wash.; DOD Marine Constructors, Joint Venture, of Napa, Calif.; Triton Marine Construction Corp. of Bremerton, Wash.; Michels Construction Inc. of Brownsville, Wisc.; Orion Government Services LLC of Federal Way, Wash,; Kiewit Infrastructure West Co. of Vancouver, Wash.; Contrack Watts Inc. of McLean, Va.:, SLSCO LTD. of Galveston, Texas; and Ballard Marine Construction, LLC of Washougal, Wash.

Work will be performed at various locations within the NAVFAC Northwest area of responsibility. It is anticipated that most of the work will occur in Washington state.

"This significant contract award is a critical step in modernizing our Pacific Northwest infrastructure to directly support the warfighter," said Capt. Preston Taylor, NAVFAC Northwest commanding officer. "This MACC adds to our acquisition tools and enables the Navy enterprise to take a programmatic approach to waterfront recapitalization.

"By upgrading our marine piers and operational facilities, we ensure our naval forces have the robust, state-of-the-art platforms they need to maintain maritime superiority, enhance fleet readiness, and execute their missions effectively."

This contract vehicle features a two-year base period and a three-year option period, securing critical work performed through July 2031.
